Bye Bye 2009 (my best year)

2009 is coming to an end. But it was one of my best years. I started working and I have learnt many new things. In fact, I came up with my present business plan and I am really happy that I did.

So, the 2009 is coming to an end and 2010 will come. I am really looking forward to the new year 2010 as I have many plans lined up for the coming months. I hope everything will be great.

I have a lot of things to do this new year and I have already prepared a list of new year resolutions. Since I have left my job and have started working online full time, I need to concentrate all my energy towards making a great business out of the present one that I have. I am sure something good is in store for me in this coming 2010.

Trip to Pondicherry for this new year

We are planning for a trip to Pondicherry this new year and I am really excited about. We have actually made all the maps for the highway route and we hope it wouldn’t be difficult to navigate.

We have also planned a list of all the attractions in Pondicherry that we are going to visit. Pondicherry is famous for its Beaches and we have plan to stay in one of the Beach View resorts.

I also heard like beer, wine and other alcohol are very cheap :) That’s cool because some of my friends here are really excited about it as they are planning to bring back a huge collection of fine wine. Let’s hope everything will go great. See you in 2010.

Used Laptop buying guide

Today I went to sell my used Acer laptop and I was offered 9K INR. This same laptop I have bought some 3 years ago for like 36K. But I think 9K is good because the laptop is already showing a lot of bad behaviors.

First it wouldn’t start up at all. Then if it gets start up, then after running for some time, it will suddenly switch off. It heats up quite high and the battery life is like 0 hours.

So, I have decided to sell the laptop anyway. But I wonder if the new owner will be happy with my laptop? So, whenever you buy an used laptop, don’t forget to check for battery, heating up and starting problems. This is just a hint.

3 Idiots – Amir Khan movie review

3 idiots is coming and I will be writing a long review on the same. Just to give you the excitement, the movie is going to be a super hit. The trailers look very promising and I am going to go watch the movie on the first day itself.

So, what do you think guys, will the movie be a super hit? I say “big YES”. What about you?

Avatar 3D 2009 movie review

Well, I have just come back after watching the Avatar 3D movie and I must say, the movie is simply superb. The effects are simply awesome and I really love the story too.

I will give Avatar 3D movie a rating of 9.9/10 and not 10 because nothing should get a 10 (just like my teacher use to say in school) :)

So, if you haven’t seen the movie yet, run and see it today. Maybe you will have to book your tickets and wait for a few days too because all the shows are house full now. I am going to go watch it again as soon as the rush is over.

This is a great website. You can visit the website at www.cocodle.com. It’s basically a site powered by Google Custom search and they generate revenue through the searches made from their website. And the revenue generated are donated to charity organizations.

This is a great idea to help needful children without asking for donation to the people. I am sure my readers will love the idea an start using Cocodle from today. Please leave your comments on the same below.

WordPress Database Backup Plugin

If you haven’t installed the WP-database backup plugin yet, go and install it now. It’s very handy and it’s very small too. Once installed, you can just run the backup from inside your wordpress blog dashboard.

You can store the database backup in your server or download it directly onto your PC. The backup comes in tar format and you can easily unzip it. This plugin is really easy to install and use. I am sure you will love it and so, I am suggesting you to try it right now. Happy Blogging.

HP Pavilion XP driver problem

I have a HP Pavilion laptop which comes with pre-installed Windows Vista and I tried to install Windows XP on the same. But just after installing the Windows XP on the system, I realized that it’s really hard to get the drivers working!

I have been searching the internet for the past 3 hours to get the working drivers but it’s getting kinda boring now as most of the drivers I have found on the HP website as well as other download websites are not working at all.

So, if you guys have any idea how to get HP Pavilion laptop working with Windows XP, please do share the information with me. thanks.

Microsoft Windows 7 – The next great thing

Okay guys, the new Microsoft Windows 7 seems to be very cool and I have already tested the Beta version and I really love it. It’s just like the Vista in looks, but it’s much better than Vista.

Speed and performance wise, the new Windows 7 is better than the Vista. Windows 7 is going to have a starter version which will be the most basic version of the Windows 7. I am not sure what are the extra features other versions of the Windows 7 will have but I am pretty sure Starter Version will be good enough for everyday computing in our personal PCs and laptops.
